The Titan motor’s massive power flows through a tough and efficient 4-wheel drive system with oil-filled steel-gear differentials and heavy-duty driveshafts. The wheelbase has been lengthened 20 mm for the perfect balance of stability and quick response. The all-new low-CG chassis positions the weight low for aggressive handling. The sleek, aerodynamic body features a rugged internal structure and external rollover protection for long life and Traxxas-Tough ™ durability.
Similar to the flagship E-Revo, the Rustler 4X4 uses a clipless body latching system for secure mounting and fast, one-handed removal and installation. The patented Traxxas High-Current Connector opens the door for unrestricted current flow with today's high-power batteries. Once reserved for high-end replacement ESCs, the XL-5 comes standard with three drive profiles, low voltage detection, thermal shutdown protection, gold-plated connectors, and incredibly low resistance. The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control offers high current handling, EZ-Set ® one-button setup, and smooth high-frequency control. A cooler running motor equates to faster speeds, longer runtime, and extended motor life.
The Titan's integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through vent tunnels molded into the motor plate to keep temperatures down. The Titan 12T 550 modified motor pumps out incredible mod-motor power with virtually maintenance-free operation, and long-lasting performance.
